Junior Camp: Ages 8-10 June 24-28
Middle Camp: Ages 11-13 July 15-20
Senior Camp: Ages 14- Senior Graduate July 8-13
Registration forms are due two weeks prior to each session.
A note for parents and guardians…
Mimbres Christian Camp sessions are electronics-free! All campers will be required to check-in all electronics with parents present at registration. Electronics will be returned on the last day of camp.
Campers can be dropped off between 2-4 PM on the first day of camp.
Pick-up will be at 1:00 PM on the last day of camp.
Cost: $100 per session. Payments can be mailed to: Lordsburg Calvary PO Box 18 Lordsburg NM 88045 or paid upon arrival.

Where is Mimbres Christian Camp?
Our camp is located in the beautiful valley of Mimbres, NM. We are about an hour northeast of Silver City. The camp is nestled next to a quiet creek and beautiful trees with hanging tire swings. The camp’s simple set-up of rustic cabins, a mess hall, and lots of open space create the perfect environment for relationship building, outdoor play, and a connection with God.
Why Come to Camp?
We believe that camp is a special place for campers of all ages. Whether it be children, teens, retreats, or families, it is an opportunity to make connections, build relationships, and grow in the Lord. Each camp session is tailor-made to fit each specific group so that campers can meet God at their level. Our small camp size (40 or less) allows personal relationships to be built between campers and staff. All of our staff have a heart for the Lord and the desire to share that love with others. Camp is an amazing place to get away, reconnect, make friends, and have fun…together.
A Look Back at Camp History…
Mimbres Christian camp began from a non-profit church group known as the Rio Grande Christian Camp in the 1960’s. The group rented the camp property through the 1970’s. The camp was donated by the McAnally Family for the development of Mimbres Christian Camp in 1972. Since then, a well, rustic cabins, an open-air chapel, bathhouses, kitchen, and a mess hall have been added. The camp is currently managed by a board of directors comprised of different representatives from the southwest part of New Mexico and Texas. Each camp session or retreat is operated by a dean approved of by the board. They These churches include:

The board, staff, and volunteers work diligently to maintain the campgrounds, prepare camp sessions, cook hearty and delicious meals for the campers, and provide a environment for campers to learn, grow, and have fun.
